Airlines still offering flights from Thailand to the UK as of 3 April

???? As of 3 April, the following airlines still offer flights from Thailand to the UK. As the situation changes very rapidly, please confirm the status of your flight with the airline.

 

Although most of the flights are fully booked, there is a chance for passengers to stand by at the airport as seats are usually available due to no shows. Please notify the check-in staff at least 2 hours before the counter closes so that you have sufficient time to get the tickets issued.

BR67 to Heathrow (LHR) departs at 1230hrs.

36 business class and 3 premium economy seats still available. Waiting list of 3 in economy. Standby is an option.

Next flight on 5 April (Sunday). Seats still available online 22655 THB in economy, and 31995 THB in premium economy.

All flights from Bangkok (BKK) to Frankfurt (FRA), Amsterdam (AMS) and Vienna (VIE) are suspended from 1 April 2020 until further notice.

????Airlines with non-direct flights to the UK:

 

✈️ Malaysia Airlines (special flight)

4 April – MH783 from Bangkok (BKK) to Kuala Lumpur (KUL) departs at 1715hrs arriving at 2030hrs local time.

This will connect with flight MH149 from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Heathrow (LHR) departing at 2330hrs and arriving at 0555hrs GMT.

Through tickets are available for 36195 THB in economy, and 106675 THB in business class to London.

✈️ Lufthansa

No flight today from Bangkok (BKK) to Frankfurt.

LH733 departs on Saturday 4 April at 2300hrs, arriving local time at 0600hrs.

Seats available in economy for 45860 THB, and premium economy for 71685 THB.

Onward connection from Frankfurt (FRA) to Heathrow (LHR) is Lufthansa flight LH900 departing at 0800hrs. Other transit destinations in the UK available.

From 1 April, 3 flights per week on Monday, Thursday, Saturday.

LH733 will depart on Saturday 4 April at 2300hrs, arriving local time at 0600hrs.

Seats currently available in economy for 45860 THB, and premium economy for 71685 THB.

TG970 Bangkok (BKK) to Frankfurt (FRA) scheduled to depart on 5 April at 0105hrs has been cancelled.

All international operations have now ceased.

✈️ Korean Air

Flight KE652 from Bangkok (BKK) to Incheon (ICH) departs tonight at 2330hrs arriving at ICN 0655hrs+1. This flight has 27 business class still available and has waiting list of 41 in economy.

There is a connecting flight to Heathrow (LHR) from Incheon (ICH) KE907 on 4 April. This has 6 first class, 46 business class and 145 economy seats available..

A through ticket is still available for 38975 THB on www.koreanair.com

From 13-27 Apr, KE907 ICH-LHR will be suspended every Monday and therefore operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays only.

✈️ Qatar Airways

Next available flight BKK-DOH today is QR981 departing at 1940hrs followed by the QR833 departing at 2110hrs.

The next flight KL876 from Bangkok (BKK) to Amsterdam (AMS) is scheduled to leave on Saturday 4 April at 2230hrs.

At this moment there are no seats available in economy but business class is available for 50715 THB. Standby is always an option too.

This connects with KL1007 from Amsterdam (AMS) to Heathrow (LHR) departing at 0915hrs on Sunday 5 April. Seats available from 203 euro.

????There is an additional service, flight KL876 from Bangkok (BKK) to Amsterdam (AMS) is scheduled to leave on Sunday 5 April at 2230hrs. Seats available from 19310 THB in economy and 50715 THB in business class.

From 1 April, there will be 2 flights a week; Mondays and Saturdays only.

For onward transfer in Amsterdam (AMS) to the UK, there are a lot of flights with KLM to larger airports and KLM Cityhopper to regional airports.

Until the end of April 2020, they will operate 3 flights per week (now changed to Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday).

Next flight is on Saturday 4 April at 0150hrs and arrives Addis Ababa (ADD) at 6.20 with 18 hours waiting for next flight (ET700) to London. The airline is providing an accommodation voucher during waiting for connecting flight.

Advised to contact counter W6-W10 to notify the handling agent if you wish to stand-by or book online.

Today, domestic flight availability has decreased significantly. Most of the airlines have suspended or significantly reduced services

 

Important: If you are travelling to Phuket Airport by road you will need to show your boarding pass/ticket to get in. The airport is closed fully from 10 April.

 

Reduced services running today. You are advised to check with the airline before making your way to the airport.

 

✈️Thai Vietjet Air

1 flight today from Phuket (HKT) to Bangkok (BKK) VZ2301 departing at 1525hrs. It is fully booked. Standby is an option.

From Chiang Mai (CNX) to Bangkok (BKK), there is only a flight today; VZ2105 at 1710hrs. It is currently fully booked but standby is a possibility.

You are advised to contact the airline to confirm the status of your flights before travelling to the airport.

Flights from Phuket (HKT) to Bangkok (BKK) and Chiang Mai (CNX) to Bangkok (DMK) are temporarily suspended until 30 April. Plan to resume on 1 May 2020.

Chiang Mai (CNX) – Bangkok (BKK)

The airline is using the smaller aircraft (70 passenger capacity) to operate on both flights today.

PG226 departs at 1640hrs – currently overbooked by 10 seats.

PG220 departs at 1920hrs – currently fully booked.

Phuket (HKT) – Bangkok (BKK)

PG275 departs 1000hrs - there are 44 seats available

PG277 departs 1655hrs - there are 80 seats available

PG279 departs 1955hrs - there are 64 seats available

Bangkok Airways will suspend all domestic flights from 7 April till 30 April.

The Phuket airport will be closed from 10-30 April 2020.

Flights to Bangkok (BKK) from Phuket (HKT) are mostly cancelled today.

WE216 departing at 1620hrs is the only one available. Currently fully booked with a waiting list of 13.

Flight from Chiang Mai (CNX) to Bangkok (BKK) is scheduled to depart at 1640hrs is the only one available. 5 seats available in economy and 1 in premium economy.

For Phuket (HKT) to Bangkok (DMK), these flights are also mostly cancelled. The DD7503 departing at 1120hrs is showing as operational.

✈️Qatar

Phuket (HKT) to Doha (DOH) flight QR841 departs at 2040hrs tonight. Seats are still available for 33955 THB in economy and 59890 THB in Business class.

Possible onward connections to the UK from Doha (DOH). An immediate connecting flight is the QR0009 to Heathrow (LHR) departing at 0145hrs. Seats are available.

The sales point at the airport is now closed so you need to book online only.

The Chiang Mai (CNX) to Doha (DOH) flight QR823 has ceased operation.

Even if I went , would be difficult to travel onwards since National Express have suspended all their coach operations. Might even have to swim across the solent by the time I got there.
