Local German news agency praises Thailand for efficiently coping with COVID-19

BANGKOK(NNT)-A German news agency has praised the Thai government’s measures to cope with COVID-19 saying that the German government should learn from the Thai government, while adding that even in small provinces of Thailand, the COVID-19 preventive measures are stricter than those of Berlin, Germany.

Exercise outdoors permitted during lockdown, confirms Phuket health chief

PHUKET:-- People are allowed to exercise in public, such as jogging and cycling, during the current lockdown across the island as along as they obey all the regulations involved, the Chief of the Phuket Public Health Office (PPHO) has confirmed.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - China's Mekong River dams held back large amounts of water during a damaging drought in downstream countries last year despite China having higher-than-average water levels upstream, a U.S. research company said in a study.
