Cop turns robber at Chachoengsao bank: Police

Observant police in the Bang Bua area suspected that a man loitering in front of the Kasikorn bank looked suspicious. 

 

There was something about the mask that was out of step with the usual Covid-19 apparel. 

 

It was very black and very long. 

 

This guy looked up to no good.

 

So the Bang Bua force confronted the man to see what his reason might be for hanging around the bank. 

 

On his person they found a brown envelope. 

 

Not surprisingly, this piqued their interest. 

 

Inside was a gun and ammunition. 

 

The constabulary are working on the assumption that the man - aged about 35 - 40 - was about to rob the bank. 

 

Investigations continued at the station.

Form a committee?  Modern police agencies already have an established unit to specifically investigate corruption and police crime.  Thailand doesn't have this?

Thanks Steve, I understand what you are saying, but in other Countries I think they already have procedural committees in place which are staffed by neutral or non aligned people. In UK I believe it is the Police ombudsman, but I could be wrong with the title...my meaning was how can the police form a committee to investigate one of their own, it is a joke.
