Eight airlines seek over Bt24 billion in soft loans from government

With the recent addition of NokScoot, eight airlines are seeking low-interest loans from the government and the total amount sought has risen to Bt24.15 billion due to the Covid-19 impact, a source said on Thursday (April 16).

Phuket Zoo files for closure. Animals left abandoned and starving – VIDEO

The owners of the Phuket Zoo, obviously bereft of paying customers at this time, appear to have walked away from their duty of care to the animals incarcerated in this island ‘tourist attraction’. We use the term loosely (read the Trip Advisor comments below). But now a video has been posted by a groups of friends who came across the zoo this week.

Sa Kaeo curfew violators given unsuspended jail sentence

The Sa Kaeo provincial court on Thursday (April 16) ordered unsuspended prison sentences for nine people charged with violating the provincial governor’s curfew order as well as the Emergency Decree on Public Administration amid the Covid-19 crisis.
