When applying for the one-year extension, non-immigrant O visa based on marriage, does the 400,000 THB have to come from overseas?   Do you have to prove this.  Or is a sufficient balance and relevant bank statement given the same day of application good enough.  I sort of remember that no overseas transfer proof is required but would like to make sure.

Only once have they asked me where  my 400,000 came from

they excepted my answer without asking for any proof,what I told them was true so perhaps they knew already but where just "fishing"

There is no requirement to prove the 400k baht came from abroad when applying for a extension of stay.
