Just so people fully understand: Yes, both Vientiene and Savannakhet will be switching to e-visa, but it will not be exactly the same as everywhere else with e-visa. Payment must be made in-person, in cash only, as part of your e-visa application. The instructions posted by both the embassy and consulate make that very clear. I'm not sure how they're allowed to change the process like that compared to every other e-visa embassy/consulate, but that's what they have posted. -

The same old "leftist" nonsense. The funniest interview I've seen was between the UK's Andrew Neil and Ben Shapiro. As soon as Neil asked him a question he didn't like he referred to him as a "leftist", the usual old trope rolled out without any thought for whether it is accurate or not. Neil replied "if you only knew how ridiculous that statement is you wouldn't have said it". Everyone in the UK knows Andrew Neil, because he was an employee of Rupert Murdoch, who owns Fox News, and he is clearly right wing. Help needed with one question about UK frozen state pension.
Thank you @hotandsticky for your comment and also bringing this post back on topic, much appreciated. I think any query about this to the DWP has to be worded very carefully. Some have said just go back to Thailand from the Philippines and your pension will stay high. It will stay high and will receive increases if you do not inform the DWP, but that would be strictly fraud just the same as not informing DWP that you left the UK in the first place. Again I am not judging anyone for what they do as the system is unfair.- 1
