Jet-liner pilot Thanun Khantatatbumroong decided to start delivering food after his airline suspended services during the Covid-19 crisis, cutting his revenue by more than 50 per cent.

For more than a month now, Thanun has been using his BMW R1200 GSA motorbike to transport food and beverages to Grab customers.

Captain Thanun has also joined with other aircraft crew to create their own delivery network, which is pulling in revenue of more than Bt1,000 a day.

“The airlines will open domestic and main routes in the near future,” he said. “But normal international flight services will not resume until the Covid-19 crisis is resolved.

it's a way of earning a bit of cash and helping out though he'd be better off using a small bike that drinks less gas than a 1200 as that has gotta dig into takings ..
