Drinking water for drought hit areas

The Department of Rural Roads has said that it will supply drinking water to people living in drought stricken areas as instructed by Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchop.

 

The department has 7,923,500 litres of drinking water to distribute and it will be divided as follows:

 

Central region: 3,920,500 litres

 

Northeast: 863,000 litres

 

North: 2,606,000 litres

 

South: 534,000 litres.
