webfact
One million farmers urged to update status to receive Bt15,000 payments By The Nation The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives has urged farmers to register their households quickly with the state, if they want to be eligible for the government’s Bt15,000 monthly handouts and other Covid-relief measures. The ministry revealed that more than one million of about 7.5 million registered farming households had failed to update their registrations in the last three years. Farming households who fail to update their registration for three consecutive years after June 23, 2017 will lose their status and be unable to receive associated rights, warned the ministry. Of the 7,522,003 registered farming households, data has only been updated for 6,196,346 households. Bangkok Barry
My wife has three plots of land amounting to about 10 rai but doesn't farm it. Her sister uses some of it for growing rice. Goes back to the old days when her father and others were simply able to claim land as their own. She registered last year and awaits her windfall.

Isaan sailor
This will help. When you factor the costs of rice farming—seed, planting, fertilizer, water pumping and harvesting—unless they have substantial farms—profits stay slim to none.
