jennygump
Hi, I'm a 19 year old female traveller from the United Kingdom, and I need to know whether I need to buy a tourist visa for Thailand. I plan to enter Thailand from Malaysia around the 16th of July and leave on or before the 13th of August. (29 days). I dont have flights out of Thailand as I am planning on getting the train back down to Singapore. Can I get the 30 day tourist stamp when I enter or do I need flights out of Thailand for that? Thanks, Jen
lopburi3
I do not believe you would have a problem with a clean passport even if they did enforce the ticket rule but the only sure answer would be to have a ticket or a visa.
Thai-Spy
It's not clear if the OP is entering Thailand by train, plane or other means of transportation. If by train, there have not been any recent reports of "show cash" or "show ticket" at the Padang Basar Immigration checkpoint where the Bangkok-Butterworth train crosses the border.
