Culture Ministry unveils plan to reopen sites, restart film industry

Don Mueang airport spotlessly clean as domestic flights rev up

Don Mueang International Airport’s domestic terminal underwent a thorough cleaning and sanitising on Thursday (April 30) now that some airlines will start flying domestically from May 1.

Phuket exodus to begin tomorrow

PHUKET:-- The first of some 40,000 people who have registered to leave Phuket to head back to their home provinces will be able to leave the island from 5am tomorrow (May 1), Phuket Vice Governor Supoj Rotreuang Na Nongkhai has confirmed.

Migrant workers affected by COVID-19 can claim unemployment benefits

BANGKOK (NNT) - In addition to the cooperation of Thai people to help limit the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the government has launched a COVID-19 information hotline in three languages for migrant workers in Thailand. They have been told they can also file unemployment claims with the Social Security Office (SSO).

Classes go online as school opening pushed to 1 July

LONDON (Reuters) - British World War Two veteran Captain Tom Moore, who has become a national hero after raising millions for the health service, celebrated his 100th birthday on Thursday with a promotion, military flypasts and a message from the prime minister.
