Electric bill and a surprise coming?

Featured Replies

I pay my bill automatically within the kbank app. I clicked yesterday to pay and it came up with the message that I have no due balance.

Wife asked around the village. No one can pay yet. Gossip is the govt is trying to adjust the April bill for everyone. Take it with a grain of salt.

Strange. Anyone else who cannot pay or paid?

Yes. Went to pay on Tuesday , 1500 baht , but was told to return on the 10th by which time the discount will have been calculated.

3% or in your case approx 50 baht - party on!

I paid mine this morning.

I was so pleased with the 24 baht saving, I spent it all there and then !

Our bill, which we also can't pay at the moment has already had the 3% deducted.

There are a number of threads on this subject.

Basically there's a 3% discount, but in addition:-

  • If you use less than 800 units your March, April, May bills will be capped at your February level (you'll get discount against later bills).
  • If you use more than 800 units you get 50% discount on the units over the February level.
  • If you use more than  3000 units you only get a 30% discount on units above the February level.
