Ranong province is considering a gradual and conditional easing of some restrictions of some venues and activities.

The decision was made at a meeting of the provincial communicable diseases committee.

They are fresh markets, eateries, wholesale and retail shops, recreational sports, beauty salons, and pet hair cutting shops -- the venues and activities allowed by the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration on April 30 for lifting of restrictions.

Risky places such as entertainment and sports avenues remain banned. Sales of alcohol drinks are also banned.

There has been no Covid-19 case in Ranong so far.
