The only thing we have to go on was he was found in bed. How did the "thief" enter unheard? Maybe the victim invited the "thief" in? Does his ex have an alibi? Just spitballing...

Pretty much exactly what I was thinking.

He could have died from an injury to one of the lungs, the heart, nicked or severed artery or a combination of the previously mentioned possible injuries. And yes, it’s nitpicking, but when it comes to murder they wanna know exactly what the cause of death was.
May 7, 20206 yr Popular Post ex-wife coming over...hmmmm......curious of her phone texts before English teacher from Germany, interesting accent I'm sure. well, he bought them a house, so that was nice definitely related to covid stress knife in your chest.....seems personal, I think he knows the killer CSI will solve this before lunch
May 7, 20206 yr Popular Post Yeah, strange case - single stab to the chest, knife left behind, guy found on his bed; guess there might be some fingerprint evidence.

Looking at the place he lived (one room Thai rental) and his occupation (unemployed teacher), I wouldn't think he was worth robbing. More likely the ex-wife who 'found' the body, or a 'girlfriend'. May 7, 20206 yr Popular Post This on another forum Mrs Sriwan also told police that although they had parted ways, she continued to visit him regularly. She said he called her on Tuesday, saying his mother had just sent him 40,000 baht from Germany, and asking her to go with him to pick it up. When she arrived on Wednesday morning, she said, she discovered his body.

Very nice dogs, but they are expensive to keep and also need a large house. A German teaching in some obscure school in some dusty small town may not have been able to afford such luxuries.
May 7, 20206 yr My Thai wife and I agree that the Police will NOT investigate. They will not even make an Autopsie, too expensive. A Doctor will just confirm the death. First suspect would be the ex wife who said she discovered the body, second suspect the current wife. But the Police will not even take fingerprints on the knive. There was also a murdered German once here in Ban Phe, shot in the head. No investigation was done, case closed 1 hour ago, steven100 said: to do with the article ..... stop smoking that stuff

May 7, 20206 yr when this happens will they look at the ex wife.s family.i imagine a unsolved murder with no suspect
May 7, 20206 yr Odd was on his bed and knife near . Think sounds like he had enough more than an attack or burglary gone wrong.

Your statement is probably not justified.
