Doo Doo revealed!  The French Connection: Trump Family Trusts Are Invested in Hydroxychloroquine Maker

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/the-french-connection-trump-family-trusts-are-invested-in-hydroxychloroquine-maker/ar-BB12he2q?ocid=sf2

Another hit piece by msn! Its sad that this piece hides behind a paywall, NYT. Have you ever owed a mutual fund !  This particular  one(dodge&cox international) has invested in many stocks not just  one. This particular one (D & C Int.)has lost money since the end of the 2019. I find it typical for msn to make a big deal of a mutual fund that the trumps hold with very little value and subject it to scrutiny .

This is a good indication what the msm and dems would do if and when they get their activist dirty hands on the Trump organizations tax filings .

All of that to be fodder in a campaign,as biden would say !

I would strongly suggest the Democrats stock up on tissues as they will be in high demand after November. You never know, some of the (privileged) citizens who promised they would leave the US if Trump won in 2016 will finally hold good on their promises and leave.

Can one effectively perform  the activist resistance,  when living abroad ! They are ,thick as thieves in my country ! Nancy and her socialist party ,msm and intel sycophants have divided America for 100 years to come ! imop

World experts, his personal advisors, didn't realise the gravity of the situation, but you expected the President to know what the experts didn't know.

Well he has continuously stated, "no-one knows more about (pick anything) than me" And then followed up about his knowledge of viruses by stating that the experts were surprised that "I knew so much about these things".

So are you suggesting that he was lying.........surely not, not this totally honest and non-crooked potus??

Seriously, the Dems should quit all the bs and try to find a sane, intelligent candidate to challenge him

Agree with that and Biden isn't it.........but then looking at the current idiot who is in charge, how low and stupid does one have to go to fill the role?

The above has been strongly refuted, example below- trump received a number of warnings concerning Covid spread to the US, which he ignored / downplayed for a number of weeks. There is a published timeline (link provided in another topic) of the 15 times trump praising China's Covid response over Jan / Feb period even after the warning. As usual trump denies any responsibility whatsoever and blames WHO for his personal errors of judgement.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/06/us/politics/navarro-warning-trump-coronavirus.html

Trump restricted some air travel from China, but at the time the 40,000 permitted to enter were not tested for Covid infection. Dems visiting Chinatowns has been put in context a number of times which refutes trump's propaganda.

It's easy to look back, and in hindsight make the conclusions that Trump was too slow to react, after you already know what actually happened.

Peter Navarro was making predictions, that's it. The only reason we are discussing them is because it turned out he was partially correct (so far - depending on what happens going forward). It's only because of this people are going back to dissect the proceedings and judging it based on what actually happened in the future. This is nothing more than a Democratic plot to make him look bad.

Peter Navarro was at odds with Dr Fauci who disagreed with the travel ban. So Trump is faced with a decision. Go with the Trade advisor's predictions, or Dr Fauci, a person likely to know a lot more about virus pandemics, who argued against such travel bans. I know who I would have followed if I was making the decisions - Dr Fauci. As it happened, he still did take Peter Navarro's advice and limited travel from China the very next day - right in the middle of his impeachment trial, I might add. Lest we forget. It didn't help because the virus was already there. It had started circulating in China in December, or even late November. It wasn't until January 22 that the WHO finally suggested that human-to-human transmission is taking place in Wuhan, but there was no major warning for the world to start locking down.

If you were actually there, without a crystal ball to read the future, the decision he made was as good as any other. The idea of shutting down the US economy, inflicting trillions of dollars of loss, is not likely going to be done on the hunch from his trade advisor. It's ironic to say this, but Peter Navarro and the Democratic Party got lucky that his predictions proved to be prophetic.

I thought this section of TV was the active resistance? I always picture the brave nature of all of these underground fighters. Defeating Trump with one courageous post after the other.

This is ridiculous. He's tested daily along with all his staff, and they all wear masks. What's your problem with that Mr Sad?

Mr Sad? Trump and his rage tweets? Moaning how everyone is against him, even Fox?  WHO is Trump not the organization, let me guess, degree from Trump University. Why wear masks for a Dem Hoax?  yep he's tested daily or hourly as the rest of us are screwed, must be nice. Where can I get one of these tests Stable Genius?

Got to admit trump and his supporters are good at propaganda in endeavours to deflect the truth away from trump's behaviour, similar to the big lie concept.

I see no purpose in them, nor the noted items, other than to intimidate and maim fellow Americans.

I prefer the current flag and using my brain as a weapon. Is my opinion, rights and all...

I can access the article, no paywall blockage. The article raises some valid issues concerning a trump appointee having a major share holding in the supplier. A manufacturer of the drug paid Cohen $1m for political assistance for trump healthcare policy insight and so on. Again trump is his own worst enemy for administration lack of transparency, blocking investigations etc etc Concerns regarding trump's financial and business practices are reasonable due to his use of out of Court settlement for legal cases / fines and many other matters. Should trump lose in 11/20 it will be very interesting to observe the number of criminal cases lodged against him.

Not correct, the electoral college ensured that Trump won despite being creamed by HRC in the popular vote.

You know, the one vote one person category that should be the way things work.

Locking down, no, but making preparations in case a pandemic occurred is a smart move, which trump and co did nothing about.

All of the excuses in the world will not change the fact that the virus was out there and countries were made aware of its potential to become a pandemic in January, and some countries took immediate action, whilst others relied upon such things as a dumb politician suggesting that it was only a flu and that it would miraculously go away by April.

That's the nub of the matter no matter how much narrative you wish to build around it.......the US, led by a mindless moron, delayed and cost thousands of lives.

Disinfectant anyone!

Let's put some other numbers out that the Democrats will not want to see.

Top states by covid-19 mortality;

source: https://ncov2019.live/data?fbclid=IwAR3I1npxj7wavdT6EzOEKTg1hC6t5onF3q-tE1GrFjKEalryCEn0OIyB4XQ

1. New York:  22,843 deaths - Democrat

2. New Jersey: 10,852 deaths - Democrat

3. Massachusetts: 6,148 deaths - Republican

4. Michigan: 5,129 deaths - Democrat

5. Pennsylvania: 4,920 deaths - Democrat

6. Illinois: 4,920 deaths - Democrat

7. California: 3,619 deaths - Democrat

8. Connecticut: 3,583 deaths - Democrat

9. Louisiana: 2,629 deaths - Democrat

10. Maryland: 2,159 deaths - Republican

In the top 10 states, Democratic governors presided over 61% of the nations covid-19 deaths, for a total of 58,182 (top 10 only).

Is there a conspiracy among Democratic governors to ensure higher death rates through gross incompetence, to make the president look bad? Wouldn't surprise me if you observe how the Democrats are currently behaving.

MA is listed as a Republican state. I suspect he is categorizing each state based on the party of the current governor. The list shows there are two Republican states in the top ten.

Mass is about 80% Democrat but they often elect a Republican Governor just to keep the kids in line

Pelosi quips that Trump has 'doggy doo on his shoes'

The Italian-Americans I grew up around considered stepping in doo-doo good luck.  Don't ask me why.

Maybe Pelosi meant it this way, after all he has the Senate, the Supreme Court and the Justice Dept in his pocket -- that's a pretty sweet position to be in.

The language of American politicians. Amazing. And they pretend to be the leading democracy in this world. Crazy!

And obviously the American people elected all their leaders. Yeah, great work...

So the democrats now need to resort to actual juvenile language  where the juvenile sentiment apparently wasn't enough. Anything but argument! Like an actual adult might deem appropriate given the gravity of the situation. But you're the Dude, man! I mean you've based your entire TVF avatar and identity on being The Dude. Congratulations.

I guess this is what American politics has been reduced to from the Democrat perspective. It's all now about baby-talk. Being worth 120 million can give one that luxury.

Do you think this is something specific for the DEMs? Or do GOP politicians use similar language?

And what about Trump and his language, especially on Twitter?

Trump uses stupid language, there's no doubt about that. But he does so transparently. Are you really so threatened by some guy who can't restrain his adolescent compulsion to post on the likes of Twitter? Really, this is what disturbs you? Meanwhile, as you're indulging in the cult of personality--which may very well lose you 2020 election--you're just going to lose more and more independent and swing voters.
