Yeah just extend and extend. Thailand is nearly covid free. They act paranoia. This is just to keep power and continue control in this dictatorship regime.

Thai people have no job, no earn money and no food. But these junta leaders not care 1 second for their own people. Really terrible.

Mean while Thai nationals all over the world sit stuck in place because of the great bottleneck created to bring them home. A very small monthly quota, while other nations go all out to help their people get home.

 

Thai nationals are stuck, with lacking health insurance, no chance to earn income, many with no family support.

Extended for eternity or until the student revolt that is brewing has been squashed. Nought to do with corona.

I'm enjoying the free VISA extensions, I hope they extend the 'emergency' another 5-10 years.

Not to mention half price water, half price electricity, no school fees or pocket money for the kids ............

 

This is saving me $$$$$s!

State of emergency could be extended for another month

The National Security Council (NSC) will again ask the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration to extend the state of emergency for another month until June 30.

 

The state of emergency was last month extended to May 31, after a similar request from the NSC.

 

NSC secretary-general Gen Somsak Rungsita said on Thursday (May 21) that it will also ask the centre and the Cabinet to consider the third phase of lockdown relaxation and the curfew reduction.

 

He said citizens had cooperated well with the first and second phases of relaxation, as shown by the falling infection rate and widespread practise of preventive measures. However, the office is concerned about new Covid-19 cases arriving from foreign countries, and says measures must be found to deal with international travel when it restarts.

 

Somsak added that the emergency decree helped the prime minister run the country during the pandemic and was not a political tool, as some claimed.

Are you familiar with the emergency created by the Covid 19 pandemic?

 

Or perhaps you'd rather be living in one of those wonderful Western democracies that have handled this pandemic so well?

Just can't bring themselves to admit a government they dislike, of a country they're a guest in, has handled this pandemic much better than those much vaunted Western Democracy First World Nations!

June 31st that means the emergency degree will never end because that date does not exist. Anyway serious now. I am not in favour of too strict measures, however extending the emergency degree for another monthwill enable the government to keep control of the situation and not loose it to the provincial governors.
