PM inaugurates Green Line Skytrain extension

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Friday (June 5) presided over the opening ceremony of the Green Line Skytrain expansion.

 

The extension includes the stations of Royal Forest Department, Bang Bua, 11th Infantry Regiment, and Wat Phra Sri Mahathat.

These new stations can be accessed from 1pm on Friday. It will take around 11 minutes from Ha Yaek Lat Phrao, the first station of this extension, to Wat Phra Sri Mahathat station.

 

BTS also informed through its Facebook page on Friday that there will be short and long trains for the Sukhumvit Line during the rush hours, or between 7am to 9am and between 4.30pm to 8pm of working days.

 

The short trains will run between Mo Chit and Kheha stations, and long trains between Wat Phra Sri Mahathat and Kheha stations.

Some of the sidewalks are very wide and there is no parking for bike / cabs. When they opened the BTS at Kasetsart Uni., dozen of cabs were using a lane on both sides of Phaholyothin Rd.
