Hey all just to let you know I had a really big upset earlier this week... The beast went down, I really thought that after 7 years loyal service she had finally packed in.

luckily after a full strip down and recon service with the local bodge it team she is back up and running purring like a content pussy????.

hopefully for another 7 years service.

I may give her a re spray and add some wider wheels.

I don't know how old you guys are, but I can remember buying an Electrolux Flymo in 1973. The best mower that I have ever owned, couldn't kill it with an axe. Plenty of torque, no wheels, no spark plugs, no carburetor, no catcher, nothing to slow you down, just plug it in and off you hovered. You could sense the fact this thing wanted barrel roll you when you hit the switch. Never missed a beat in twenty years, finally falling apart due to UV attack on the plastic body. Looked at replacing it but by then things had moved on for the worse. Later models weren't a patch on it.

GK don't worry about looks, just plug it in.

Screw that, where's the fun in mowing the lawn?   You want something with a bit of grunt that can get the job done double quick. Something like in the video with a 30" cutter deck.  ????
