90 day online reporting

Featured Replies

I'm trying to do 90 day report online, using Chrome browser & get message "the site can't be reached" ..

Has anyone had similar problem or suggest a solution ?

Thanks

You will get that if you are using a VPN. Also it has been reported that for some unknown reason some Thai ISP's will give the same failure.

Not using VPN, have internet connection.

Use https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online/online/tm47/TM47Action.do

I got that last week. Left it for an hour, went back in and it worked. So be patient.

And it's definitely nothing to do with your browser since only last week I successfully submitted my latest 90-day report online using Chrome!

It is working when I first posted and again now.

Who provides your internet service. People have had problems with AIS and others.

I use true and just opened the site again.

Perhaps try installing this extension on Chrome. http://www.ietab.net/ To see if works.

I reinstalled Chrome as suggested & tried to connect.

Received same msg as before...

Try turning your router off then back on.

Doing this sometimes allows the router to be assigned a new/different IP address and allowing you to connect if the previous router address was being blocked.

Yep, done that & tried anor computer w/ same result??

Hmm. I just checked on both my TOT fiber to True Internet fiber Internet connection and the page displays as expected.

As expected, if I enable my VPN connection to California and try to connect then my chrome browser responds with "This site can’t be reached. extranet.immigration.go.th took too long to respond."

As others have suggested, the immigration web server is accepting connections from a small group of whitelisted Thai-specific IP addresses, and apparently your currently assigned True Internet IP address isn't one of them.

True utilizes CG-NAT (Carrier Grade - Network Address Translation) that forces large swaths of users to share a common public-facing IP address, allowing them to service many many more customers than their assigned block of public IP addresses allow. Normally this isn't an issue, but if one of their CG-NAT proxy servers public-facing IP addresses gets blacklisted then any customer assigned to that proxy service can experience issues with sites accepting that blacklist.

If you type what's my ip in chrome, what are the first three quad numbers? For my True connection I'm currently assigned to 58.11.17.66  (xxx out the very last set of numbers). That's my currently assigned True proxy address (my router actually has a 10.150.xxx.xxx address that can only work with a paired ISP proxy public-facing IP address so we basically ignore it).

I'd suggest trying to power-cycle your router (power off, wait a 10 count, power on) until the What's my IP shows you a different IP address (your assigned CG-NAT proxy address). Then try the IO url again.

AIS Fiber wouldn't connect a few weeks ago but that's now been rectified and it's working for me now. At the time, I switched the phone from wifi to 4g and it was able to connect.

my ip is 134.196.136.89

Whats my IP address states it is likely a static IP. https://whatismyipaddress.com/ip/134.196.136.89

Rebooting the router will not help.

If you have phone that allows you to tether it to your computer you could switch it to data and try opening the site.

Yep turned off the router & on again, same ip comes up again...I use an Apple computer, normally use Safari, but for Thai Immi use Chrome.. Would changing back to Safari make any diff??

You can try, but probably won't be any different.

The Immigration web server is refusing to communicate with your browser, possibly because their server is checking

browser type compatibility

geo-location not satisfied

user public IP address not within the whitelist

Do you have a smartphone with active Wireless Internet Service?  You could either use that directly to access the site, or turn on WiFi Hotspot and connect the Mac to it and try accessing the site.
