A 10-vehicle smash-up in Nonthaburi caused a traffic jam stretching for several kilometres all the way to the Sombat Buri Market entrance after the pile-up blocked all inbound lanes on Kanjanapisek Road in Bang Yai district near the exit of Central West Gate department store yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.

Capt. Chalermporn Klaythong, director of the Sattahip Naval Base’s Real Estate Division, led military personnel and local officials to the 80-rai property in the Plutaluang foothills for a survey.

 

The Royal Thai Navy has dismissed the legitimacy of a claim laid to land in Plutaluang and will proceed to build low-income housing there.

Students returning from other provinces face 14-day quarantine
