Is that a month wage, 3 months or a year ? Being a footstool or holding a bin for 5,000 a month might be a little discomforting if a year
connda
So, why aren't Thai massage gals lobbying the government for a 5k THB handout. Everyone else is?
MickGC
The majority of rubber farmers live south of Bangkok. Who do they mostly vote for? Can this be compared with the Shin rice subsidies? Guess it depends on which side of the fence you stand.

That's 5 million baht per... I sure hope there's a translation error between thousands, millions and billions. NE1
Where does all the money come from. TAT spends I don't know how much , paying people to go on holiday. They had a scheme not so long ago giving 1,000 baht off hotel rooms. Every week there is another scheme announced to prop up the tourism sector. We have the rubber , rice , palm , corn etc. farmers getting a hand out . ( Not saying they don't deserve it ) All the self employed getting there money every month. The bill must run into billions of baht. The baht never really weakens anymore . Thailand must be one of the richest countries in the world.
