scoupeo
hi, do you live or know a condo at first floor (ground floor for some) facing swimming pool ? i would prefer a smaller project than the giant maldives and other condo resorts where I fear the future of maintenance payment and amenities... (what will happen when not enough people will pay...?) Thanks guys !
bartender100
Just a warning, can be a nightmare being close to the pool for noise, screaming kids, music. I know, been there, summer when they are off school is even worse

newnative
Ananya in Wongamat would be one possibility. Small, higher-end low-rise project.
Oldie
Avoid the ground floor. Mosquitoes will love you and also people can look inside or easily get inside. Also be careful if there is flooding in this area.

Popular Post cryo
Strangely enough the ground floor are rarely broken into as they are regularly looked at/patrolled by security and thieves generally go for first floor if easily accessible a professional condo manager told me this he also told me 90%+ of break ins are internal. Ground floor well away from the pool is a good choice, not reliant on the lift, first out in a fire/incident (very important as lifts are not safe in a fire), the majority of condos have anti reflective windows (one way view) on the ground floor, easily accessible when you are old (no stairs), guards are generally based on the ground floor, highest water pressure power shower without the hassle, close to amenities/shop/laundry, can be legally used for business premises in a condo, shopping can be dropped off over your balcony rail, condo management office usually just down the hall, windows generally shaded by trees etc so cooler. As to mosquitoes I find they will locate you at any level or they may just like me. Down sides not a good view and cannot think of any others but I'm sure someone will let me know if there are others ????flooding being the obvious one but the majority of condos have underground car parks/basements which will have to fill up first and the majority if not all condos will have basement pumps with a back up pump. Mine is at the pool. It is a nice view but also a lot of noise. Luckily I use the aircon all the time and so the windows and doors are mostly closed. Otherwise I would suffer a lot. Wouldn't recommend such a location if you like to have the windows and doors open.
