No wonder Thais are scared of covid spreading dirty bride seekers in Thailand.

You surely must be one of most boring posters on TVF. Most guys living here are not hoping for bars to open to find wife. If your looking use dating app.

Personally I'm looking forward to places like Night train market open up. 90% Thai folk in the bars. Open air good food and very chilled. Maybe one arvo drop into stumble Inn Soi 4 for chill and maybe chat to random punter. Go Australia bar Soi 11 watch some sport.

I notice your posts every day and you lower the bar.

And iron-clad rule number 22 is?

No Thai can count past 10 without taking off his shoes. And apparently, no Thai can count past 20 under any circumstances.

Sounds like you have more fun in the BTS.

I've had half naked girls sit next to me but never a P R rep and the service lot usually just collect the glasses ..

Any clues to when the clubs & gogos can open?

When they do hand sanitizers will be available at ALL entrances .

weren't they already ? i would of guessed anyone in their right mind would want to sanitize before and after frequenting such a fine establishment.

Another one who thinks Thailand's nightlife survives only on foreighn tourists. Guess the millions of Thais dont go out at night to pubs and clubs that are catered to them right?

oh  dont  they  just  love their  rules,  only  22  why not ad a  zero and make it 220,  in triplicate

Not a 7/11 but a local Mom and Pop near us, where a bunch of Expats sit outside of, drinking big bottles of their choice of beer. I have nothing against that except; 1. Put your bloody shirts on, you look like a bunch of retards that have escaped from a fat farm. 2. Don't park your rusted out <deleted> heaps of vehicles on the road where we have to drive on the other side of the road to be able to pass and 3. Not sure where you all go for a leak but please...get a life!! You know who you are at the small shop next to the even smaller round about at Pala beach, Banchang. ???? ???? Just thought I would throw that in...

One of the least intelligent sounding statements I have ever heard on Thai Visa forum...and there are plenty to gauge by.

No, they are PR reps obviously and flirting around the bar looking for a customer.

Mainly Ferang Teachers.

I guess lap dances are out, then. Although I have noticed iron-clad rules in Thailand become like rubber if enough 1000 baht notes are waved at them.

Visit Vietnam if you have not already. Sit down Bui Vien. The "teachers" there sucking phiss on way to work make English "teachers" in Thailand look like professors. Which they certainly are not.

Yes, once reopened, and the all important informal revenue stream has resumed, then the iron clad rules will become a token effort. After all, the "enforcers" are also likely to be amongst the main beneficiaries of the industry reopening.

This is no longer about science it is clearly about control and oppression. No cases locally for a month means there is no need for restrictions of any sort.

Blah blah blah.  Tired of reading this.  You do realise the OP is about easing current restrictions, and ahead of when most people thought.  So how is that about control and oppression exactly?

Rather than just chucking your stock TVF phrase out there, please explain.

So no live football and no bar girls allowed to sit with customers, that's beer bars and go go bars finished.

Seriously? So sports bars, er, restaurants, which have had the TVs burning brightly for the past week, will now have to turn the TVs off. Wow, that's just unbelievable. So the sports "restaurants" (and bars)  might as well shut down again and send all their desperately needy staff back to the village.

That's how it is worded.

Yeah sure is and Thai karaoke bars have outside girls too. I knew they would do this, it was obvious, no sitting together and masks/visors for the staff.

There's never been a large group of people in the bars I sometimes drink in, sport or not.

There will be a communist party representative at every venue ready to act against rule breakers - they will be taken away for adjustment

What? =

-Most bars in Patpong ain't been cleaned for 30 years!

I guess it will get as clean as it gets them. I estimate that if they start clean those toilets according to the rules above, they will look quite clean in about 30 year more.

Another option is to call in a deep clean team.

One thing hit me. This means that the police that are in charge of following up and inspect that the rules are followed, needs to be able to check upp 22 new things.

Oh Dear! Everyone can understand that will not work, looking at previous history of knowledge regarding and upholding the laws.
