Anyone dealt with this problem?
I've heard heat will kill them and am thinking of hiring a commercial heater or just buying several heaters and cooking the room.

That will not work.  They hide in cracks in wall, in areas heat may not reach, and needs very high temp if dry heat.

 

Need a good insecticide that's intended for this use, also with residual effect, couple of treatments as eggs may survive, air the bedding after.

 

Don't forget cracks in walls and floors, behind skirting, folds in matresses.

 

Wash all bedding on hottest wash with strong detergent.  Dump the pillows.

That does not sound like it will work... just bite the bullet and hire a pest control company..

There are many videos from professionals saying that raising the temperature of the room above 70 centigrade will kill the bugs and the eggs, for which they use commercial heaters. 
Otherwise has anyone done this themselves with chemicals? What did you use?

Gather all clothing and put it in a large plastic bag and leave in the sun for a few days. Vacuum the area several times including the mattress and all the joins on the mattress where they can lay eggs. Spray everywhere with insecticide ellike chaindrite but wear a mask. If possible leave the mattress in the sun. They are lazy so you only need to worry about close to the bed. If you think you have introduced them from travel put the suitcase and contents in a plastic bag in the sun. When you stay in hotels NEVER put your bags near the bed. 

Ps be careful with the contents of the vacuum. Put in a plastic bag in the sun.

Its odd, as I only get single bites, usually they are in lines.

 

I'll get one bite, on one area alone. 
But there are droppings on the mattress, that appear to be from bed bugs.

I think they are in groups of three in a line. Doctors call it breakfast lunch and dinner.

and the neighbours as  well,  bound to have infiltrated next door, if  he has  any. Seen this  with cockroaches in condos,get yours eradicated and find the neighbours over  run with the things.

Fixed it using heat, 2hs having the room very hot.

For future reference: how and to what temperature did you heat the room.

50 degrees
