Except I have answered.

As your memory seems to be at fault, and you also seem incapable of clicking on the links to the relevant posts of yours I provided; I can help you no further.

My memory is fine, you can't justify you assertion, can you?

The International Trade Secretary, Liz Truss (a Brexiteer), disagrees with you.

Brexit chaos: Johnson's border plans torn apart by OWN cabinet minister - LEAKED LETTER

Before anyone says she supported Remain in 2026; yes she did. But she later changed her mind: Liz Truss says she would now back Brexit.

It seems that cabinet ministers can change their minds, but we plebs are not allowed to!

2026? A forward-looking woman then?

Each side was given more then enough time to expose the opposing side's "lies and deceptions" before the vote.  Waiting until after the vote and then complaining about it because the vote didn't go your way is just being mulish.  If you honestly think people were swayed by lies and deceptions, then you have only yourself to blame for not telling people about it before the vote.

The Remain side did expose many of Leave's lies; Boris's bus, Farage's' millions of Turkish immigrants waiting to flood into the UK for example.

Unfortunately, enough undecided voters fell for the lies to give Leave a small majority.

5 minutes ago, Monomial said:

You don't need a second vote, and third vote to accept the results of the second vote, etc. That isn't the way real government systems work.

No one is asking for a string of votes; but 53% of voters said last December that they want a say on the final deal. This is a momentous matter; one that will effect the UK for decades to come. Why don't you believers in democracy want to give us that final say?

7 minutes ago, Monomial said:

Now you have to wait until the process is complete, and then you can start your own referrendum to rejoin the EU if you want. Presumably, if your position is supported by the majority, then you will win a "rejoin" campaign after the results of this have been implemented.  But you have to implement what was previously decided on first.

The time to correct a mistake is before it becomes not only irreversible, but disastrous.

Were we to leave and then apply to re-join at a later date do you really believe that the EU would allow us to keep all the advantages we currently enjoy; such as the opt outs from the Euro, Schengen, the rebate, etc.?

I refer you to the posts of yours on page 97, to which I have already linked. But, like many Brexiteers when challenged, you chose to twist their meaning in order to deny what you said.

There are many positives that are regularly posted here, all of which are ignored or poo pooed by our resident embittered Remainers and foreign hangers-on. I won't even bother to repeat any of that long list.

My own favourite, if slightly indirect but a positive for me, is that it sticks it right up the TVF Remainers, together with all others of a similar ilk throughout the UK and Europe. All those metropolitan elitists, chattering class liberals, hardcore leftists, champagne socialists, Euro-federalists, deckchair economists, tropical doomsters and self appointed experts, et al, have not got their way and we actually left. That they have not managed to see negotiations concede us into another trick Euro submission deal just twists it a bit more for them and their pompous twaddle. They are beaten by democracy which is slowly being executed and they hate it.

Nice rant, but no facts; as usual from you.

Go on, list some real advantages to the UK from Brexit.

How is admitting my mistake blaming someone else?

Pathetic.

Projection probably.

Brexiteers are always trying to blame someone else for the problems they have voted for.

Nice nothing, but at least no pomposity. Nothing left I suppose.

I told you I wasn't going to list any, but you were not listening - as usual from you.

I know what you said, it was your usual pony.

That's why I asked you to list some real advantages to the UK from Brexit.

Of course, the real reason you're not going to is because you can't think of any!

I told you, so why ask. Again and again. They have all been listed before.

But the biggest one is that people like you can't get their way. That's my real reason for you. Democracy wins this time.

If you have listed them so many times before, you should have no difficulty in repeating some of them.

Yet you can't!

Instead, all you can come up with is your pathetic last paragraph. That you want to spite those who disagree with you; that you think satisfying that spite is more important than what is right for this country.

I suppose you mean this:

On 7/14/2020 at 5:22 PM, Rookiescot said:

And every one of those 27 members have a veto which they can use any time they dont like something.

How do you know that the EU wants to become a single state?

No. They don't anymore. You should read the Lisbon Treaty too.

I suppose you mean the above. The problem is that there have been numerous vetoes for numerous situations. The UK had already lost many of these over the years before Lisbon Treaty cancelled even more of them (via QMV). I think your claim was that I had said that vetoes had disappeared completely but I have never said that, so if you want to continue then you should show me where I wrote this.

At least we won't stave

https://www.retailgazette.co.uk/blog/2020/07/lidl-to-open-1-new-store-per-week-create-1000-new-jobs-before-xmas/

Lidl has revealed ambitious plans to open 25 new stores in the next six months, equating to one store per week, creating up to 1000 new jobs in Great Britain by the end of 2020.

The German discounter said its £1.3 billion investment plans in Great Britain for 2021 and 2022 will drive the opening of 100 additional stores, creating around 4000 jobs for the British economy.

By the end of 2023, Lidl said it would aim to have 1000 stores in Great Britain.

https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/aldi-planning-open-20-new-18602003

Aldi is planning on opening another 20 stores around Greater Manchester.

The supermarket giant has revealed the key areas it is targeting across the region in an effort to continue expanding its locations.

Around the country, bosses want to have a total of 1,200 shops open to the public by 2025.

Bolton, Bury, Wigan and Salford are among the places where new stores could be built.

They must be petrified of Brexit

A lie is a lie, even if other people believed it and regardless the time it is exposed. If you find that mulish then that tells a lot about your moral compass.

I wasn’t even aware auch thing as a “real government systems“ exists. I’m glad that most government systems don’t work by referendums though.

As I said, you changed what you said after being challenged.

First you responded to two posts about the veto, one on sovereignty and a EU single state, the other on the veto generally, by saying "they don't anymore" and telling the posters to read the Lisbon Treaty.

Then you changed that to the above.

Even that is wrong; which you would know had you bothered to read the links provided to you earlier.

Your claims about the treaty are false, no matter how you try to twist and turn and deny what you originally said.

Yet you can't tell us what your 'right result' will bring us!

All you can do is make childish dancing monkey references.

If you want to be taken seriously in a debate, try some adult responses to questions.

All you have done so far, and not just in your past few posts in this topic but many in a similar vein here and elsewhere, is show that you really don't have a clue about the real issues; about the pros and cons of Brexit. So all you can do is merely repeat mindless sloganising because it suits your world view.

I don't dance to your tune. If you really do want the positives of Brexit, go google them again yourself, or look back through the topics.

Whether you take me seriously is of no concern to me. Your opinion of 'real issues' ar only your opinion and pompous calls for Brexiteers to repeat the positives will get you nowhere.

ha!

yes, off Norway waters, not in, we would probably do it with cucumber salad and fopped spuds with carrots on the side

any way,

my German fragment above is taken from a book by a fairly famous German author,

D10 should be Mutter and the right answer is;

es gibt Makkaroni mit geribenem Parmesankese   (would much prefer halibut though)

as far as being on topic is concerned; how far can you stretch fishing rights?

nuff nuff
