How long must the money stay in the account after you receive your 12 month marriage visa extension?

Grateful if someone could clarify whether or not the 400k must stay in the a/c after the marriage visa 12 month extension is issued.

No need until two months before next application.  But wait until you get the extension in your passport as they could check during the 30 days it is normally under review.
