It doesn't say it in the OP. I read it in a news article. Further reading shows that he actually hasn't been charged with murder yet. Pending the investigation I assume he will be.

Thanks for responding. As usual we will have to wait for the full story to evolve. Depending upon his motive he may well be charged with murder or vehicular homicide later.

Why is Trump allowing all this bs? Taking over Seattle and blocking highways for 19 days....is he too scared to arrest those protestors, one might get hurt during the arrests...maybe even a black person....owwwww..

Understand your frustration. But Trump is playing this beautifully. The left want Trump to send in the army and end the mayhem in a few minutes, but he knows that would leave a body count and they would forever beat him with that. Especially if, (shock horror) a black person died. So, he let them set up a pure socialist state in the heart of Seattle. He let them OD on drugs and beat people not appearing to be lefties, he let them shoot each other, he let them set up racially segregated areas(apartheid?) and extort each other, and for chaos to take over this wonderful pure socialist state. Masterful, and point proven. He lets them block highways, and end up killing each other doing so. Again, Trump wins, the left loses.

 Seeing so many posts here supporting the car driver just proves it. Normal people are not impressed with the BLM rioters, no matter what spin MSM puts on it all. Election is in November, just a few months away.

The freeway was closed, by police. The driver entered the wrong way and was driving the wrong way.

Well no idiots on highway, no incident to report; you can't put brains in statues!

Sure Anitifa. So small in numbers that they're almost imaginary. This is the same kind of prejudice that the civil right movement experienced during the 50's and the 60's. Then it was communists who were blamed for inciting black americans.

Yes, I just imagined all that burning and looting, sitting here in peaceful Thailand. And as a matter of historical fact the CPUSA did co-opt the civil rights movement starting in the 30s and right on basically to present, and to some degree the political right in America deserved it, but it has left a very difficult legacy.
