Does anyone know if pepper spray is legal or not in Thailand?

If not, What is legal for personal protection?

Thanks so much

Most of the 'more unfriendly' Thais will have a gun or a machete.

You need to decide what you want to defend against those weapons.

An alternative is to practise sprinting a bit more.

Never seen a bloke run faster than a bullet yet......:cheesy:

It's legal

Not only legal but easy to make. Just buy some Tom Yum fried rice, liquify and there you have it, Bear Spray strong enough to fight off Amber Heard.

Don't go out without a angry Thai wife. She will handle the situation, you take the photos for Facebook.

I am not looking to go up against a gun with it, that fight I will take greater pains to avoid.

More for those who would attack me with a weapon say for example a baseball bat (I know they do not play baseball here). Especially the male population in this country, they seem a bit hot headed.

Is there anything I can have to protect myself?

If you are so concerned about your safety, rent a bodyguard. That may be way over the top, but it will give you face.

Yes you can, your brain is the best protection you have and it is legal.

Normally you will not get in a fight with a Thai person,of course there is always the exception but if you

behave normal you will be ok.

I have been in many strange places and really never had a problem

Be polite, say thank you and please and pay your bill.

Do not wear gold or expensive watches and such,do not make yourself a target.

I feel a lot saver in Thailand then in my home country.

If you make a cultural mistake just say sorry, can happen.
