Popular Post rooster59 Posted July 11, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 11, 2020 What a clever Thai puppy! "Silver Fang" gets lost but turns up at the vet's! Image: Siam Rath Comment was rife on Thai social media after CCTV footage showed a lost dog scraping at the door of a vet's in Bang Poo, Samut Prakarn. Reporters from Siam Rath went to the Phuttharaksa Clinic behind the industrial estate and spoke to the clinic owner Saengdeuan who explained that it was 8 pm and she was busy with other animals. But some assistants out front saw the dog and let it in. She recognised it as a four month old Thai Ridgeback called Khiaw Ngern (Silver Fang) who had come in for a vaccine jab some time before. The dog had arrived before in a pick-up but obviously remembered the experience. Records led to her being able to contact the owner, a 63 year old woman called Sunee. Silver Fang had got loose at home and been missing since the afternoon. They were happily reunited at 9 pm after Sunee went to the clinic. Note the FOUR other dogs wandering freely, says it all. 2

Bangkok Barry Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 I've read several stories over the years of dogs walking hundreds of miles back to a previous home. They have some powers beyond ours, including better eyesight, better hearing, better sense of smell, they are faster. Probably more. 1
