Testing means testing those that want to be tested and not just those who are repatriated or appear to be sick Yinn. Opening up testing locations in all provinces, doing anti-body checks and following those that are just asymptomatic.... However, I have just gone off topic and apologize to the OP. China needs to explain in more details as to the reasoning behind the suspension of flights for the two airlines as the OP indicates. It will be interesting to see the actual details as to why! Popular Post JusticeGB
A friend of mine with a temperature of 38.5 and a cough and went to a Government Hospital. He was given codeine and told to sign a form confirming that he didn't have covid19. He wasn't given a covid19 test! How would he know that he didn't have covid19. The hospital explained that they had no test kits available. 7 1

Grumpy John
A couple of facts concerning transit flighT's. Years ago I was travelling from Swampy by Air France plane to Phnom Penh. The flight originated in Paris. People got off for Thailand but quite a few stayed on board to go to Phnom Penh. Maybe they were told to stay on board??? Contrast that with Jetstar flights through Singapore where everyone got off, walked all the way around the terminal to the Bangkok bound connect. Some may have gone to other destinations but a lot from my flight were heading to Bangkok. Wandering into cafes and duty free shop.... Six passengers tested positive on Thai Lion Air's SL117 flight on July 7, while there were five positive cases on Thai AirAsia X's XJ808 flight on July 10, according to a statement posted Wednesday on the website of the Civil Aviation Administration of China oh dear - lets see if they can explain that one away Like I have been saying for months now - Thailands data is correct since they don't test anyone - dead or alive - so yes - zero detected cases is accurate but extremely misleading 3

Here is link the real story. https://thai.ac/news/show/471850 Fake news is indeed a big problem. Your link to 'the real story' quotes anonymous sources at the two airlines. In the case of the Air Asia flight, it says: "ขณะที่แหล่งข่าวจากสายการบินไทยแอร์เอเชีย เอ็กซ์เปิดเผยว่า เที่ยวบินดังกล่าวมาจากมาเลเซีย-มะนิลา-ไทย-เทียนจิน ผู้โดยสารไม่ได้ลงจากเครื่องและไม่ได้เข้ามาที่อาคารผู้โดยสารในประเทศ" which I will translate as "while a source from Thai AirAsiaX revealed that the flight in question came from Malaysia-Manila-Thailand-Tianjin. Passengers did not get off the aircraft and did not come into the terminal building" [the pedant in me would add that it's a bit pointless to say they didn't come into the building, if also saying they didn't get off the plane]. For some reason, though, flight tracker web sites show this flight XJ808 as originating in Bangkok. This flight seems to have been a new addition to the AirAsiaX schedule in May 2019: "Thai AirAsia X from May 2019 is adding new route to China, which sees the launch of Bangkok Don Mueang – Tianjin service. From 03MAY19, Airbus A330-300 aircraft will operate this route 3 times a week (Day 245), increasing to 4 weekly from 02JUN19. XJ808 DMK1555 – 2140TSN 333 x136 XJ809 TSN2240 – 0215+1DMK 333 x136" https://www.routesonline.com/news/38/airlineroute/283315/thai-airasia-x-adds-tianjin-service-from-may-2019/ "XJ" is the IATA code for Thai AirAsia X. More to the point, XJ808 was operated on 10 July 2020 by a Thai-registered A330, HS-XTE. If an aircraft is on the Thai CAA Register it is based in Thailand and the crew will be a Thai crew (unless there's an expat pilot). That aircraft is showing as having indeed come from KL the same day ... but after flying there from Bangkok. It then appears to have sat around at Don Mueang before the flight to/from Tianjin. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/hs-xte It may be it flew to KL to pick up passengers who did not de-plane in Bangkok, and did not pick up any more passengers in Bangkok, but the flight crew presumably are all Thailand-based and have now been exposed to infected people.

Popular Post SkyFax
https://www.thansettakij.com/content/business/442086 via Googlen translate: With passengers coming with Thai AirAsia X XJ808 flights in the Don Mueang-Tianjin route 5 people were infected with Covid, while the passengers on Thai Lion Air Flight SL117 on the Bangkok-Guangzhou route on 7 July 2020 were infected with 6 people. Following this, it was found that the services of both airlines are charter flights. That fly to carry passengers Which is Chinese From Kuala Lumpur And Jakarta returned to his domicile However, both of the above routes Originated from Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta But since both of the above mentioned cities Does not have the right to fly into Tianjin and Guangzhou of China, causing to fly into Bangkok to use the rights that both airlines have Continue flying to China. Under the new flight code starting from Thailand to China Which passengers did not leave the plane to Bangkok or change to a new plane in any way But only on the plane And not receiving passengers from Thailand in any way, it is assumed that all 11 people are infected from the country of origin Thai Air Asia X revealed to the "economic base" that the said flight Is a charter flight Type of passenger transport to China In which the said plane With a departure point, beginning to fly from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia With flight XJ325 But from Kuala Lumpur does not have the right to fly to Tianjin. Therefore flew into Thailand using our flying rights to fly into Tianjin Change new flight code to XJ 808.
