CCTV caught scenes of mayhem during fights in Samut Prakan hospitals.

 

Chairs go flying as two gangs battle it out in ER.

 

They were angered by the death of a colleague elsewhere. 

 

Violence that erupted on the street wound up continuing in hospital.

 

Several were injured.

 

Reports suggest that 11 are now in custody and more arrests are imminent.

11 youths nabbed for assaulting a hospital doctor

 

 

Police in Samut Prakan province have arrested 11 youths who assaulted medical personnel at a hospital, allegedly for failing to save the life of their injured friend, and then went on a rampage in another hospital in search of their rivals.

 

Police said that rival gangs fought a running battle in Soi Rong Lek, off Poochao Samingprai Road, on Sunday night, resulting to some of them suffering knife wounds.

 

The injured were sent to Vibharamchaiprakan and Muang Samut Poochao hospitals for emergency treatment. One of the victims was fatally stabbed when he arrived at Vibharamchaiprakan Hospital and doctors tried to save his life, but to no avail. The victim was pronounced dead at about 8.45pm.

The simple solution is to draft these thugs into the army and deploy them for duty down south.

On the one hand we've got sensible young people protesting against the Government and Army and on the other hand we've got ferel youth killing each other attacking Doctors and smashing up Hospitals !

Spay and neuter... NOW!

I realize Buddhism is “taught” in schools. Are there any commandments not to kill one another? Killing someone seems to be the first motive when angry with many Thai men. Life is cheap  in their world.

Female doctor punched for failing to save gang member’s life

A suspect in a deadly brawl at Muangsamut Puchao Hospital in Samut Prakan province on Sunday (July 19) was arrested on Monday and admitted to hitting a female doctor for failing to save his friend. 

 

The violence was sparked on Sunday, when two gangs – Mahawong and Soi Rong Lek – began clashing and the victim “Q” was stabbed in the chest by a rival gang member. 

 

However, when Q succumbed to his injuries in hospital, his friend Kuk punched the female doctor for failing to save his friend. A male nurse then came to stop him, but that only drew the attention of Kuk’s brother Min, who stepped in and attacked the nurse. 

 

They then headed off to avenge Q’s death by beating up Soi Rong Lek member Thanaphon Thongchaiya, 21, who is now being treated at Muangsamut Puchao hospital for injuries to the mouth and head. 

 

Upon arrest, the brothers reportedly confessed to the crime, while police say they will face serious punishment.

Lowest of the low to fight in a hospital

When I view footage such as this l feel sad for Thailand, l am not sure what has gone wrong and why some Thai’s (young and old) seem to resort to this type of behaviour. I would assume this action is the result of a change in the Thai mindset to a degree. I actually believe this type of behaviour represents the breakdown in Thai couture, as such where might we be in 10 years if such actions are not proactively addressed.

Sadly, that won't happen. Anyone, anyone at all, is allowed to have kids, absolutely no qualification of any kind required. Just imagine the upbringing any of their kids will receive. And the beat goes on.....

Sure. Give them weapon training and then weapons with live ammunition. That will teach them a lesson...

Do you realize many religions are taught in many countries, and one of the base commandments in most religions is not to kill one another? So what's your point?

Some will survive to come home trained, experienced and still in a gang. Others will come home in a body bag and there is a lot of unintended consequences out of that too. 

People think life is cheap and they are wrong. Many if not most Thai's all they have is life. You have a nice job, money in the bank, etc... then life is precious. If you got nothing then life of others means little and your own life has a chance to reincarnate as a rich person.  There is a recipe for disaster brewing in Thailand I'm afraid.

These guys are totally crazy. There are standards, even among criminals. What type of value system gives rise to this kind of BS. It makes me worry that underlying the Thai be nice, don't aggravate people attitude, there is nothing; absolutely nothing underpinning it.

Let’s hope this doctor is holding the scalpel if kuk is ever undergoing surgery.

Thai Soap TV have a lot to blame for the culture here. It is inane drivel with everyone having retards beating and screaming at women, hiso's to lowso's, guns everywhere and crazies shouting all the time!!

Truly shocking to read and see this. Tragic for the deceased and sad for all the medics caught up in the mayhem. Would never have expected to see scenes like this in Thailand. I thought it was only the UK A&E departments that endured <deleted> like this.

Once again it is up to the government to provide some meaningful sentences that will be a deterrent for others instead of just a slap on the wrist
