Four types of foreigners to be allowed to enter Thailand: CCSA

The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has in principle approved the sixth phase of lifting restrictions on some groups of foreigners, but is waiting for detailed guidelines on disease prevention from related ministries before an effective date can be announced.

Luxury Phuket hotels eyed as alternative quarantine options

(Reuters) - Dustin Johnson has never competed at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota but the world number four is confident the course, which will host this week's 3M Open, is a perfect place for him to move on from last week's Ohio nightmare.

Railway construction thought to have caused flooding in Pak Chong district

People in Pak Chong district, of Thailand’s northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima, are asking whether the flooding there on Tuesday was caused by the blocking of natural waterways, by a contractor constructing a railway, from whom they can claim compensation for damage caused to their property.

Ex-PM Yingluck and two aides faulted by NACC over “Thailand 2020” project

Thailand’s former Prime Minister, Yingluck Shinawatra, former PM’s Office Minister Niwatthamrong Boonsongpaisarn and Suranand Vejjajiva, former Secretary-General to the Prime Minister, have been faulted by the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) for malfeasance in office, for allegedly wasting 240 million baht of taxpayers’ money in hiring two media firms for the promotion of the “Thailand 2020” roadshow project in 2013.

Ten out of 151 soldiers return from Hawaii with high fever

The Thai Army Combat Team comprising 151 soldiers, who had gone to Hawaii to participate in the Lightning Forge 2020 training programme, returned home on Wednesday (July 22) on a Thai Airways flight that touched down at Suvarnabhumi airport at 5.40pm, a source at the airport said.
