BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's cabinet on Wednesday named Sethaput Suthiwart-Narueput, the prime minister's economic advisor and a former senior World Bank economist, as the next central bank governor, a government house source said.

Hawaii returnee tests positive as doctor warns of second wave of Covid-19 infections

BANGKOK, July 29 (TNA) – The Royal Thai Army puts on hold participation of Thai soldiers in overseas military trainings, Gen. Nattapon Srisawat, the Director of Thai Army’s anti-Covid-19 unit said after several soldiers, who returned from a military exercise in Hawaii were found infected with Covid-19.
