Woman targeted by prowler at Pattaya condo

A 22 year old Thai woman returning to her condo in the early hours of the morning after a birthday party for a friend had an alarming experience with a man who tried to get into her room.

Ann (an assumed name) had returned to a condo block in Pattaya Soi 12 at 4.40 am. As she was nearing the block on a motorcycle  a friend called and she answered.

Then a man who looked creepy tried to chat her up. She quickly went to her room, locked the door and had a shower.

Then someone was rattling at the door trying to get in.

Petrified, she thought it might be her friend so she texted them and found out it was not.

She called her friend to come back quickly and when the friend arrived they noticed the man who had been out in the street trying to gain access to the flat via a balcony.

He claimed he wanted to use the toilet.

They confronted him and threatened him with the police before he ran off down the stairs.

CCTV showed he had been lurking about. She filed a report with the Pattaya police.

She told the media that women in Pattaya should beware at all times, dress conservatively, lock their doors and not trust strangers.

Deserved a good beating.

Ask the "democratic soldier"   his words not mine.

Her condo doesn't have any "security"? But they do have CCTV...

Oh yes. Definitely a candidate for the feeblest spontaneous excuse award.

Perhaps wanted to scrutinise the toilet seat closely.

Should have took his photo, then given that to the police as some useful evidence to go on.

Weird, in Thailand. Like women aren't exactly that hard to get. You're heterosexual, they're all over you. Too many gays, and ladyboys, here.

that summer's it up .. they never go for rich and flowing .. bout time we had a Constantina or Anastasia or something more than 3 letter job that a duck could quack ..

Drop him off the balcony would have been appropriate if the flat was high enough.

Then say OOPS :whistling:

:cheesy:    only in thailand can you make this BS up  ....

if the cops can't find this prowler using face recognition software then I have to wonder if the prowler is in an inactive post. Guys like this don't get scared off for long, he'll be back, needs to be caught and adjusted.

Yes, Thaivisa keyboard warriors would have helped her :-)

The prowler probably wanted to sniff her feet.

Exactly, he will keep at it until he finds someone who fails to lock their door or window. The condo security need to be making rounds rather than lounging or sleeping all night.
