Those interested can visit customsauction.sia.co.th to register, pay auction guarantee and see what’s up for sale. People can also visit the parking lot of the Customs Department from Wednesday between 9am and 6pm to check out the cars and motorbikes in person.

The event is organised by Siam Inter Auction.

Auction guarantee ????   is that the non refundable type ??

Also  I wonder if after buying these vehicles  does import tax still have to be paid ?

and what other obstacles  await registering for road use at the DLT ?

Those white beauties are Aston Martin DB9 Spyders...

Nice cars. Silver lining is they didn't end up being driven by some hi-so teen punk with zero driving skills - yet.

All the best ones will be sorted to go to the right places. The people they were meant for seemingly just send staff to buy these back and palms have been greased to make sure they get their cars back .

Apparently the Land Transport Dept refused to register cars bought in the customs auction last year.

Bloody hell. I wouldn't pay 4,380 on a bad day. Crazy prices. Skoda is the only car that's ever left me on the side of the road, in a -15 DegC snowstorm, so fond memories.
