Teenager Beaten Up After Accident

A nasty beating occurred between teenagers on 3rd Road, near South Pattaya on 22nd April at about 3.00 am after a motorbike collision with 2 people injured.

When the Pattaya police and Sawang Rescuers arrived they found two injured teenagers; one in a very serious condition aged 18 – 19 years old name unknown was quickly taken to the hospital for treatment.

Mr. Lert aged 18 who is a motorbike caretaker at Pattaya Police Station –was only slightly injured and gave his statement to the police before going to hospital.

Mr. Lert stated that the seriously injured man was driving a Yamaha Meo on the wrong lane being chased by many motorbikes.

Mr. Lert couldn’t avoid the Meo and hit it head on causing them both to fall off their bikes. The unknown youth quickly got back on his bike and tried to flee from the ensuing bikers but made it only 100 meters before they stopped him and began beating him up.

The police recorded the statements and will wait to question the victim after he recovers from the hospital. The police think that maybe the victim went to one of the local Karaoke bars and had a fight with the group of teenagers then tried to flee but didn’t make it.
