Bag Snatchers Now Aim at Thais

Lately, it seems that snatchers are mostly aiming at Thai people because recent snatchings this month have been Thai victims like this case here.

Miss Juthamart, aged 19, was robbed of her bag at 1 am on 24th April by two men on Thepprasit Road. Unfortunately, the police were not able to capture them.

The belongings taken were 4,000 Baht in cash, a mobile phone, an ATM card, and some personal documents.

Miss Juthamart stated that she was driving along Thepprasit Road and these two men on a motorbike followed her into Soi 7 where they approached her and then demanded her to stop. She was frightened and regrettably she stopped; they took her bag and even opened her shirt to see if she was wearing a gold necklace, which she wasn’t. When they had nothing else to take they just rode off.

At the moment the police have details of their bike and will investigate in the area to hopefully find both bike and its thieving riders.
