Your comment is about as ignorant as the Reuters article which stated "without evidence".

That's what you do an investigation for - to find out the facts. Did you expect Paul and wife to collect information (evidence) while they were being mobbed. Perhaps they should have conducted interviews?

So why did Paul make such inflammatory claims before the investigation was done.

Did you see a protester physically assault Paul or any of his party? Did you hear any threats? Unless you deem people chanting "Say her name" as a threat.

Uhm, somebody did shove a police officer into Rand.  You'll just call that something else.  And you know there were threats but as long as they're not clearly audible you feel safe to deny that there were any threats.  So let's listen to the man himself describe the event from his perspective.  If you still want to insist that there were no threats then do so while calling Rand Paul a liar.

So the RNC lets Trump do his acceptance speech at the White House, banners and all, which given the number of federal employees involved, is likely against the Hatch Act for most (but nothing will come of it). Protesters are outside the White House compound and many of the guests leave the event without cars/security and they do not expect to be confronted by the protesters? I have not seen any evidence of physical violence against the guests but wasn't it Trump himself in 2016 that urged his followers to "punch him in the mouth" (paraphrasing) at one of his rallies? He seems to want it both ways, protesters should not even interrupt or talk nasty to him or his followers (let alone hit someone) but its ok for his followers to be physically violent to them. The hypocrisy is ongoing....

Since you brought hypocrisy up did those Democrat attendees at the DNC expect to be confronted by mobs?  Do a search for the answer and report what you find.  Seems only Dem supporters are involved in mobs.  Why is that?

If I didn't know any better, I'd swear  Boomhauer   is a cross between Rand Paul and Trey Gowdy.

This seems to be the established opinion of many on the left, that if you are of a certain political leaning you are not allowed the same protection and freedom to walk down a street like everyone else.

I do not think the majority of Americans agree with this premise.

You can blame that on Trump, the Great Divider.

Nowhere in Barr's statement does he say that protests are "largely peaceful."  You can't argue with facts so you just made that up.  It's purely fictitious.

There have been videos of protesters who complain about their protests being hijacked.  Certainly they're hijacked by both individuals and groups.  What groups might those be?

CNN is being roasted (pun intended) for their latest coverage in Kenosha featuring their reporter standing in front of burning autos trying to convince the audience that the protests are "largely peaceful."

Posters here who defend all of this "mob rule" seem to be clueless that sentiment is going against you yet still you persist.  It's a backward strategy and will only help Trump.  Carry on.

"Nowhere in Barr's statement does he say that protests are "largely peaceful."  You can't argue with facts so you just made that up.  It's purely fictitious."

The protests are largely peaceful. That's a fact I don't have to argue for, you have to argue against it, like you argue against so many other facts.

"There have been videos of protesters who complain about their protests being hijacked.  Certainly they're hijacked by both individuals and groups.  What groups might those be?"

According to Barr in the link you provided: "...anarchic, far-left extremist groups...." Unsurprisingly enough he's short on details.

"Posters here who defend all of this "mob rule" seem to be clueless that sentiment is going against you yet still you persist.  It's a backward strategy and will only help Trump.  Carry on."

People are tired of mob rule. The mob moved into the WH 3.5 years ago and the filling of the swamp ensued. Hopefully enough people have recovered from the brain aneurysm that made them vote for trump so that the mob can be ejected and persecuted.

You can blame it on the Dems and their media bullhorns.  For 4 years the Dems, the MSM, liberals and Rhino Republicans have been inflaming the hatred towards Trump and his supporters.  Are you suggesting that that has not been a major cause of dividing America?  Don't try and kid me.

Blaming the media that have pointed out all of trump's lies and crimes for "the hatred" is like blaming the doctor for the cancer he just diagnosed. Kid you not.

PS. I think it's called 'blaming the messenger'. Did that make it more understandable for you?

Took a nose dive during Obama’s 2 terms. In my view that’s when it REALLY started ramping up. He was very good at masking his hyper partisan hogwash inside inspirational messaging.

Doesn't matter what Trump does or doesn't do.  He'll be vilified just the same.  You know that so your statement is simply a canard.

Give me a break sounds like Paul was complicit in his on mobbing, he saw a large crowd had blocked his car and decided to walk. Pleaseeeeeeeee, go inside Trumps Hotel put some money in his pocket until it is safe to leave. So what if they were paid to be there, have not noticed lately it is aganist the law to congregate.

Yes, act like a grown-up and try to be a uniter instead of a divider. That wouldn't just be the right thing to do morally but would IMO be very smart politically.

Unfortunately, trump is neither smart, moral or a grown-up.

The date of the article is February 6, 2017.

Now tell me again about how I'm "blaming the messenger?"  (The correct phrase is "shooting the messenger" . . . there is no common phrase "blaming the messenger.")

How's Russiagate going?  Is Rachel Maddow still going on about "the noose is tightening?"

The biggest smear campaign ever perpetrated against a President and the American people and you fell for it all?  LOL

A component of the responsibilities of the Office of the President of the USA is to unify society and encourage bi partisanship, on both counts trump has been an abject failure. trump has the entire resource of government available to him for research and assistance for decision making, yet repeatedly ignores thier advice, one of the outcomes being the unnecessary deaths of thousands. let's not forget he repeats comment, sometimes dozens of times, even though already proven to be lies / misinformation, acts contrary to the Constitution he is sworn to defend, undermines the institutions of government, has staff who work alongside him to support his and others conspiracy theories - one can go on with more examples of malfeasance. It makes complete sense trump and enablers are not trusted and vilified by the majority, but he / they keep on digging - not taking responsibility and blaming others.

Thanks for reading - I'm off to make a cup of tea...

Obama was trumpeted as a Constitutional lawyer but he was better versed in the Saul Alinsky doctrine.

"Propaganda?" "Objectivity?" How about just the facts (data, timeline, spoken words, you know.)

Take off your dark (as "on the dark side") glasses and look if you dare as some fact...

(the figures are no longer the same, I mean they've gone up to what probably near 200K deaths by now.)

Attacking? Shouting slogans is not attacking. There was no attack.
