Policeman injured in bid to stop pickup allegedly smuggling in Myanmar labourers

A senior Tak Immigration Police officer and two Myanmar nationals suffered minor injuries when a pickup allegedly trying to smuggle undocumented labourers into the province smashed into a police vehicle at a road block.

(Reuters) - Dustin Johnson made an "unbelievable" 45-foot (15 metres) birdie putt on his final hole to force a playoff at the PGA Tour's BMW Championship on Sunday, then could only watch as Jon Rahm nailed an even bigger one on the first extra hole.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrats said Donald Trump should not visit the Wisconsin city where protests erupted last week after a Black man was shot in the back by a white police officer, while the Republican president said "strength" was the only way to deal with unrest.

PHUKET: Police have arrested a Myanmar man wanted for robbing a pharmacy at gunpoint just over 200 metres from Chalong Police Station last Thursday (Aug 27).

ThaiCERT tackles moves to hack into ministry’s website

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Indian troops foiled an attempt by Chinese troops to encroach over the disputed and ill-defined border in the western Himalayas, the Indian army said on Monday, in a fresh flare-up between the two nuclear-armed countries.
