snoop1130
Infected DJ’s work places failed to maintain basic anti-COVID measures The three work places of the DJ, who is Thailand’s first locally transmitted COVID-19 case in more than 100 days, did not observe the basic preventive requirements of temperature screening, the wearing face of masks and social distancing and offered a “glass sharing” special menu, according to an investigative report by the CCSA. The number of people in close contact with the infected DJ,traced by health investigators, has increased to 970, with 119 of them classified as being at high risk. 516 have been tested and 513 have been cleared of the virus, with the results of the remaining three still pending. The Criminal Court, which the infected DJ visited, has the highest number of contacts, totaling 492, with 14 being listed as being at high-risk. Meanwhile, Thailand today recorded one new COVID-19 case among returnees in state quarantine. According to the CCSA, the new case is a 27-year old Thai office worker, who arrived in Thailand from India on September 1st, on the same flight as another passenger who was earlier found to be infected with the virus. He took the first test on September 5th, which showed a positive result, but without symptoms. The new infection brings cumulative infections in Thailand, to date, to 3,445, with 3,281 recoveries and 58 deaths. Popular Post Oldie
If I look at the nightlife here in Central Pattaya most bars that I see here don't care about regulations. Some don't even care about closing times. Obviously there is not much law enforcement. So why should they care. 3

Popular Post Dukeleto
But but where did he get it? Or is the answer that to that too controversial since Thailand does have Covid circulating quietly through the population undetected because testing is too expensive and no one actually wants to test for fear of a giant magnifying glass and the threat of social ostracism and trial by social media placed upon them. No testing = no domestic transmission.

No testing = no domestic transmission. Perhaps he ordered something at Lazada that came from China and this product carried the virus. Since Thailand was Covid free there cannot be any other explanation... 1

I believe it is because of the way it is portrayed by the media and the Thai Government and many believe the Drivel that Thailand is Covid Free except for quarantine related cases. It unfortunately given them a false sense of security.

No one will miss you Thailand has done an amazing job at protecting us from Covid unlike USA or even my home state of Victoria, Australia I think you'd find that people complain about things in any country. Even visitors who, if they stay longer than a couple of weeks, soon lose their rose-coloured glasses. Perhaps you would prefer the Thai way, where no-one complains and the frustration builds up and up until people suddenly explode into terrible violence, sometimes over the most trivial thing (hoot at a driver and he might come at you with a machete or gun, for example). Telling people to go home, perhaps deserting their family, is also too often the Thai way, showing no responsibility. Those who are happy to suck up the generally lower standards than they would find in their homeland probably prefer those lower standards as it means they have low standards themselves or are happy in Thailand because they don't have to try very hard to keep up standards. 7

No testing = no domestic transmission. Exactly. Cases are rising in the UK and Europe again, largely due - they claim - to more testing taking place and more cases being discovered. Don't seek and you won't find. Head in the sand.
