I placed an order with Lazada first of this month, due for delivery 4th... 7th.

At 5 yesterday afternoon contacted Lazada, where is my order?

Our system shows failed delivery on the 6th... What?

So i told the lady bs, nobody came here yesterday, both myself and my wife home all day, dogs did not kick off, cameras show nobody at the gate.

Asked to wait, few minutes later lady came back and said, we will contact courier company tell them, we will not tolerate things like this from couriers.

This morning before 8 got a call, passed phone to my wife as caller was Thai, man on the phone giving my wife grief, why you make problem for me, he said.

Wife told him nobody making problems but you, saying you tried to deliver when you didnt.

Wife gave him clear directions how to get here, then she went to work.

About 30 minutes later dog barking loudly, oh somebody at the gate, i got the remote opened the gate, nobody got out of the pickup, but window opened, man was taking a photo of our home, so i started down towards the gate, WHAT!! the driver just drove away, crazy or what.

That was over 2 hours ago, he has not come back.

In time you will come to realise that it is you who is the villain of the piece.

The poor snowflakes don't take too kindly to being accused of lying when they lie, Asian FACE is something I could never comes to terms with, the acceptance of BS to maintain a false sense of FACE! Hope it all works out ok Colin.

I hope the delivery man is not going to pull a fast one on you,

now they dont get you to sign anything,they just take picture

of the number of your house,as proof of delivery.

 

Maybe revenge for reporting him for not delivering the first time,

you better phone the couriers again, or at least check on lazada

website to see if it has been listed as delivered.

Did you know who was supposed to have delivered it? I'm guessing this wasn't Kerry, I've always seen them as reliable.

 

I get the impression Lazada are using someone else (as well?). Is it their own Lazada staff I wonder?

Don't let these jokers intimidate you Colin, they are all bluster. Get back on the blower to Lazada.

The outfit supposed to deliver is called J&T TH, I have never heard of them before.

I don’t know where to start with this story.

 

The sense of entitlement which comes with not having to do your job properly in Thailand regularly astonishes me. 

Those caught out for lying, cheating etc somehow feel righteous in blaming others for not being happy with their behaviour.

If there was a viable option I would never use Lazada again, if for no other reason there "verifying" screen annoys the $rap out of me!

Yesterday we had a parcel delivered, there were no contents! they had obviously forgot to place inside envelope, when I reported this they choose not to believe me!

If the guy had the b all s to call you up and complain why you got him in trouble, then had the b a ll s to come to your house and take a picture or whatever he was really doing, then be wary that he is not up to some revenge. Doesn't take much to set off a crackpot liar.

Yes pickup was directly outside the gate, 2 cameras picked it up.

I just looked at my previous Lazada orders. The last one I had was delived 4 months ago by LEX TH.

That was the first non-Kerry delivery I've had. They were OK.

 

I'd make sure Lazada are aware that the guy came to 'stalk' you without delivering the goods.

I’d consider printing out the photo’s and having your Wife go to the Police and make a complaint.

You already have his phone number. The Police can call him and ask him what he was doing taking photo’s of your house - It may not even be the same guy. Or it could be the courier company taking photos to prove the house exists etc....

 

Its one of those things which will likely go away. If the guy couldn’t be bothered to deliver properly he’ll likely not be bothered to follow up with anything else.

Get in first and send photo from security camera of the guy coming, complete with date and time to Lazads customer services.

 

Pre- empt him using photo taken today to prove that he delivered on the 6th.

 

 

To be hones, all in all Lazada products and service are better than expected to a country like Thailand where most things are done half baked and on the wings and a prayer, i have bought tons of stuff from them and i'll give them 8 out of 10 for service and quality of product and punctuality of deliveries and i'm as a picky whinger as difficult as they come...

Unfortunately, Yinn, your sarcastic defensive response is unwarranted - Thailand is a lovely country, but one with many issues (as many countries have). 

 

In particular one with a labor forces of highly questionable integrity - If there is a short cut to be taken, its taken. 

I’ve worked all over and Thailand is outstanding in this instance. 

A well trained team who value their jobs are an excellent asset to any company in Thailand. However, the selection process and training is so often lacking that staff are often problematic. When the laziness, lies and cheating are highlighted the response is often to save face, anger and entitlement shine through. 

 

I’ve seen workers spend 1 hr to save 10 mins works !!! astonishing. 

 

In my house (recently bought new) I’m finding the most basic issues on a regular basis. Doors screwed on at each hinge with 2 not 4 screws. Wardrobe rails falling down, held with 1 screw not 4. Toilets not installed correctly etc etc - the list in endless but stems from an underlying carelessness and sense of entitlement that they get paid regardless of the quality of work. Granted payment is low, but a job is a job. 

 

In this case, someone has outright lied about delivery. 

 

I’ve had the same issue in the Middle East - Couldn’t find address (it was a national company - everyone can find the address !) - the Delivery Company was employing lazy workers who couldn’t be bothered - the difference here is when someone can’t be bothered and is called out they complain for being called out !!!!!

the guy delivered to wrong house. 

Then another worker come to take photo of house for confirm. Fix mistake. 

Because original worker is busy other job. 

Mistake happen sometimes.

Yes mate, i agree with you, i have used Lazada many times, normally goods here before due delivery date.

This is the first time dates have passed with no delivery.

Normally Kerry, Flash express or DHL, no problems finding our home, i know directions to our home in Thai, but this morning the driver was making out he could not understand me, thats why i gave the phone to my wife.

The country is fine........ the service from your fellow countrymen is often poor.

During covid, delivery men (most of the possible couriers) were taking a photo of the house and/or you with the package to verify delivery and to reduce contact.

 

Sounds to me, esp as he came back for the photo after the fact, that he is running a scam. Agree with poster get that photo from your cctv to lazada before he claims his was taken on the 6th.

Once again you are putting up the usual BS response, which is totally wrong, why would another worker come here?

The only courier company here with sufficient staff to do that is Kerry, and i have never had any problems when Kerry deliver.

In my previous apartment we used to have Grab or Foodpanda 50% of the time riding up and down the wrong soi and calling that they couldn’t find my address. Yet not on person I knew personally had any issues finding our apartment with any further instructions than the address itself. 

 

In my current house (moo-baan) 10% of our deliveries get left in the moo-baan next door (same house number), we often receive deliveries for the house in the moo-baan next door. Its become somewhat of a joke. But 10% of these guys can’t even check with the security guards on the gate that they are at the correct location.
