I have a none o which ran out in 16th june, I did go sometime ago when it was time to extend for 60 days (1900B) and was told its an amnesty so i should go home.

Now I am approaching the end of the amnesty (September), on a none o which is expired sometime ago.

Question, can I go and extend my none O for a further 60 days now? my none o is not based on marriage (im divorced - single father) nor does it require any funds, i got it in the uk as I have a son at school here. I do not think that matters however just to be clear.

I see no point in extending for the 30 days like I was on a tourist visa, IF im entitled to 60 days extension if that makes sense, also might I add, im not 100% confident I can get the extension? ok just to break this down

1. I entered Thailand on the 19th of March admitted until the 16th of June.
2. Before the 16th of June I went to ask to extend and was told amnesty no need go home

3. Until now I have been on the visa amnesty like I assume 99% of other people here

----
My visa was issues in my home town of Hull, meaning I had to show my sons school licence copy, condo contract, school letter stating he is enrolled, and some other docs, nothing fnancial though as its my home country, I digress and probably you dont need to know this info just thought id add.

My ultimate question is, can I go now and extend my none o for 60 days? can I just extend for 30 days? normally I can extend 60 days on my none o.
If the answer is yes, I can go to any office right? I heard as offices are busy they are allowing you to go to any?
If the answer is yes, is it 30 or 60 days I will get?
If the answer is no I cannot extend, will I have to leave this month? when the amnesty ends? if thats the case would I need to become a tourist? or fall down with some kind of migraine which stops me from flying *wink wink*

I appreciate I have babbled on here, just wanted to give you the full info, I have my son at school and just starting to get back into the flow after the whole covid took him off his studies for a bit, so I really do not want to have to leave this month, I've been told by alot of people sure I can go when I want and extend 60 days easy, but 2 close friends who do know a bit about visas said no because if i did extend 60 days in June it would be over now anyway so time to go!

Really appreciate any replies in advance and thanks for even taking the time to read.

You can obtain 60 day extension to visit son and that will be dated from Sept 27.

When you go to apply ask your io that indeed they are dating your extension from Sept 27 and not day you apply.

You can extend for 60 days. Your son must go with you when you apply. You must go to the immigration office of the area in which you live, generally as indicated on the most recent TM30 that was submitted.

Hello, thanks for your reply, i have never needed to take my son with me in the past?

I needed to take a bunch of docs including a letter from his school showing he is in the school, a copy of the schools liscence and some other documents, but never needed to take him, are you sure I need to take him?

Also the new rules I read state anyone can update at any immigration office as to not overwhelm the offices? not sure if thats true but I did read it on a few news outlets?

Most offices will insist he be with you to apply for a 60 day extension to visit your Thai child,

Those are the documents normally required to apply for a one year extension.

You will need your child's birth certificate and a copy of it. Copies of his house book registry and ID card if he has one (7 years old or over).

I have seen nothing like that. But I suspect that was for visa exempt and tourist visa extensions.
