Bangkok Bank - Minimum balance to avoid service charge

Featured Replies

What's the minimum balance on a Bangkok Bank regular account to avoid service charge.  It looks like they claw back 15 THB a month.

No minimum balance requirement to avoid a fee unless the acct balance has fallen below Bt2000 and there has been no owner transaction activity (i.e., deposit/withdrawal/transfer) for 12 months.  Bank generated transactions (i.e., fees) do not count as owner activity. Now if meeting both those conditions then a Bt50/month maintenance fee begins and continues until the acct balance reaches zero then the acct is closed.   To stop that monthly Bt50 fee you just need to go do a transaction.

Now I think if you are enrolled in their SMS service that costs Bt15/month....maybe that's the Bt15 monthly fee you are seeing.
