Ten Wheeled Truck Hits Posts

On the 28th April, the Pattaya Police were informed that a ten wheeled truck had reversed at speed on Soi 15 near the Mercure Hotel and hit two electric posts, so quickly went out to investigate and arrest the driver.

The 35 year old truck driver, Jamnong Kaewdee was in a very drunken condition. It seems that after he hit the posts, he drove to a nearby empty space to park and sleep in the truck with no cares or worries.

Waking him up, he confessed that he was drunk and had been driving. He did not see the posts because it was so dark in the soi.

Further proceedings will be made with this man for drunk driving and for causing damage to public property.

I bet he's papping himself at the thought of a 500 baht fine :o

I think they should be very strict with drink driving offenders, if Farangs are caught they should be deported for good, that would thin the Farang population down in Pattaya.
