Is TRUE ID programmed in such a way that will not allowed you to log in from outside Thailand ?

 

I have been trying to log in from outside Thailand in a bid to save my prepaid SIM card before it expires by topping up online, but it seems impossible to log in unless you are within Thailand.

Don't know about the TRUE ID but if you have (Thai) internet banking you could top up through that.  Failing that ask someone to stick 100 baht on it at 7.

I do log into True app occasionally to insure sim is current. 

 

However, I top up using bank app.  I have always thought the true app little clunky while both banking apps are easy and straight forward.

 

 

ETA:  And yes I am out of Thailand.  Currently, in Turkey but have logged into true app in USA as well.
