Are Elite Visa holders being allowed into Thailand?

I am contemplating to signup for the Elite Visa since STV is impossible for me due to my "high risk origins". Any information regarding this would be helpful

Take a close look through some recent threads on this forum regarding the difficulty ELITE visa holders are experiencing fulfilling the contradictory and confusing requirements to actually travel into Thailand.  It appears there is little help provided.

Hi , I would be careful , and not be in a hurry to hand over the cash to TE.

People stuck out of Thailand have to apply to TE to arrange approval with the MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), and this has to be granted before you can apply for CoE with your local Embassy.

Apparently the MFA has cracked the sh#%s with TE, so nothing is being approved.

If you pay now you get a ‘free’ 3 months Visa extension - but a fat lot of good that is to you sitting in your lounge room waiting to return to LOS.

If you are over 50, an O-X visa is probably the way to go

What gives you the idea that they would give a CoE for a person from a high risk country, when they put a stop on STV for people from the same country? I would surely not gamble 500k on that chance. ????

I would assume the 'powers that be' get a cut from TE visa....

They own Thai Elite so they do get income from them.
