Many businesses that licensed his name went bankrupt, or went out of business. And he had between four and six major bankruptcies (depending on the source), including the Trump Taj Mahal (which he spent $1.2 billion building, and was $3 billion in debt within a year of opening), Trump's Castle, Trump Place Hotel (which was very successful prior to Trump buying it in 1988, and he managed to put it into $550 million in debt by 1992!), Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts ($1.8 billion in debt by 2004, bankrupt in 2009) , and Trump Entertainment Resorts. There are likely others. And this does not take into account the 3,600 lawsuits he was involved in as of the time he took office, the vast majority of which were filed by small contractors against his companies for non payment, or total default. Many of these contractors were crushed. It is part of his M.O. 

 

Nearly anything with his name on it, and his association with it, fails. And that will be even more so, after he loses the November 3rd election. His name will remain radioactive, the the rest of his life, and the mini empire will continue to dwindle. During the period from 1985 to 1989, three years of which were boom year in NY real estate, he somehow managed to lose $359 million. Between 1990 and 1991 he lost $517 million. And between 1992 and 1995 he again managed to lose $286 million. 

 

The real irony of his whole persona, is that he cannot negotiate his way out of a paper bag, much less negotiate a treaty with an adversary, which makes him very dangerous. There is a very good chance his tax returns will reveal massive bank fraud. And he could be facing prison time, once he is ingloriously ushered out of the White House in January (possible by US Marshalls, should he resist).

Your 'information' is highly inaccurate.

 

I am well aware of the genesis of the Russia investigation. It would have been a gross dereliction of duty NOT to pursue it, and as the SSCI report indicated---remember SSCI is chaired by Repubs---there was plenty of 'there' there. There was active cooperation between 45's campaign and Russian operatives. For example, as was highlighted in the 1000+ page SSCI report, Campaign Manager Paul Manafort gave GRU asset Konstantin Kilimnik internal polling data from the campaign that was subsequently used by the Internet Research Agency (a GRU entity in St Pete) to microtarget voters in swing States with made-up stories about everything from "Uranium One" to HRC's health.

 

As became clear during the roger stone trial, stone was aware of what was hacked from the DNC and Podesta, then given to Wikileaks, and 45's campaign knew what was going to be released and when, as 45 regularly touted what was going to come next.

 

Now that 45 has installed 'his people' in positions for which they are woefully unqualified, his DNI ratcliffe is cherry-picking intel so as to intentionally obfuscate reality.

 

After 45 likely loses 3 Nov, and is replaced on 20 Jan 2021, real professionals will take over at DNI and likely issue a much more full and damning report of what the SSCI report had to redact.

 

From my experience in the IC, I know that Putin doesn't like to leave any loose ends and he will engage in a scorched Earth policy is it either suits his needs or gives him some sort of pleasure. Putin absolutely will reveal not only the full extent of cooperation between the 45 campaign and the FSB/SVR/GRU, but also what kompromat he has on numerous USG officials, including 45.

 

The final chapter on the sordid campaign of 45 is not even close to finished. What is being blocked from release now will be released when the current Administration is removed. Former DNI Dan Coats knew the full details and would have handed over the material to Congressional committees who have authority and a 'need to know' (SSCI & HPSCI), but he was fired before he could, and his secrecy agreement prevents him---as it prevents me---from revealing the intel. Pres Biden, however, will have declassification authority and will be able to make everything public.
