BANGKOK (NNT) - The Alliance for Child Wellbeing has submitted recommendations on preventing and resolving abuse of young children to the Early Childhood Development Policy Commission, in response to recent examples of rampant abuse that have impacted children, guardians and teachers with Minister of Education Nataphol Teepsuwan receiving the suggestions.

On top of seeking to protect children from violence, the recommendations seek to allow greater participation by families in child development, alongside teachers.

The Minister of Education assured that his office is not ignoring the issue, while acknowledging oversight, has so far, been too lax. In the interest of finding long term solutions, the Minister said all recommendations will be considered, mentioning that the most crucial matter at present is the rehabilitation of victims of abuse.

The commission gave its approval to the draft 2020 – 2027 Early Childhood Development Plan, which is to be presented to the Cabinet next week. The plan focuses on addressing problems surrounding young children, keeping their best interests in mind.

Install cameras and let parents follow what's going on in the classroom. Not only regarding abuse, also interesting to see whether they're teaching anything useful, whitch I doubt.

Even if rehabilitation is essential for the victims, that can never be the most crucial matter. They get it wrong already from start as usual. The most important matter is to put a stop to the regular harvest of new victims that seems to be the only thing growing extremely good despite the drought.
