Public bus and van services within a of 5-kilometre radius of the protest rally at Ratchaprasong Intersection will be suspended from 3pm on Friday, said the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BTMA). Services were being halted until traffic around the anti-government rally site returned to normal, the BMTA said.

Meanwhile, the BTS Skytrain will not pick up or drop off passengers at Chidlom and Ratchadamri stations from 3pm onward, according to the operator’s official Twitter account.

True democracy is not having a senate stuffed with an appointed majority, where votes are not tampered with and where political parties are not banned and MP's dismissed on trivial grounds, just because people voted for them.

No freedom of speech at all and certain forums seem to bsck this up to protect it own bum or ad money. About time some people showed some backbone
