Second Fire Cracker attack on the same house in less than a week.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Tadkum from Banglamung Police Station was called to house number 20/21 in Pong sub-district in the early hours of Tuesday Morning after the house owner reported an attack on her house by a gang of men armed with fire crackers.

Police arrived and spoke with the owner, Khun Sumlee aged 40 who explained that on 26th April; she was cleaning the front of her house when a gang on motorbikes pulled-up in front of the house and begun to throw large fire crackers in her direction.

The crackers failed to detonate and no harm was done to property or herself on this occasion. She decided not to file a Police Report and thought this was just a group of young boys having some fun at her expense. In the early hours of Tuesday Morning a further fire cracker attack took place, but this time, one of the crackers exploded which woke up neighbors who called the Police.

A small crater in front of the victim’s house was seen, suggesting these were not domestic fire crackers and were intended to cause either damage to property or harm to Khun Sumlee. This time, a Police report has been filed on the case and they are now searching for the gang who appear to have no connection with the victim.
